StarVaders

Three mechs are available at the start, each built around a distinct playstyle and its own pool of cards. Twelve pilots can be unlocked on top of that, and each one adds new cards, new mechanics and a personal backstory. Battles are fought turn by turn on a grid, with hundreds of cards, artifacts and upgrades available to build a deck around. Every run draws a different mix of cards and enemies, so strategies shift from one attempt to the next. A Chrono Token lets a player rewind a few turns mid-battle, undoing a bad move or lining up a stronger combo. The game is built around a multi-part story campaign, then extends into ascending difficulty tiers, daily runs and standalone challenge modes. Design leans toward clarity, with no long tutorial and no external reference needed to understand what a card or icon does.
