Sora

The story follows Sora, a girl built for combat and sent to fight on a dying world she would rather protect. You move freely around the screen rather than along a fixed path, weaving between overlapping bullet patterns while returning fire. Before each mission you choose three weapons from a set of more than twenty that unlock as you play. The choice matters, because each has its own range, spread and rhythm, and a loadout that suits one opponent can leave you short against the next. Fights are fast and often close, and the game rewards reading a pattern rather than reacting late. Three modes are included. Story mode carries the narrative through scenes between battles, Arcade strips it back to a run of fights, and Match mode sets duels for practice and score. The art is anime-styled and the soundtrack leans on trance. Difficulty is high by design.
