Song of Farca

The story is set in a near-future city where powerful corporations dominate society and criminal networks push back against them. Investigations rely on searching darknet forums, hacking drones and reviewing surveillance footage to piece together what actually happened. Suspects can be questioned or pressured through interrogation and blackmail, and every piece of evidence gets added to a growing web of leads. Players draw their own conclusions from that evidence and decide who to accuse, so the wrong call can end a case badly. Cases are morally messy rather than clear-cut, since victims are sometimes criminals themselves and suspects can turn out to be innocent. Choices made throughout an investigation carry consequences that cannot be undone, and they branch into multiple different endings. The overall tone stays dark and atmospheric, closer to a grounded crime thriller than an action-heavy adventure.
