Skyshine's BEDLAM DELUXE

You play the Mechanic, one of the last people who knows how to run one, hauling a crew and civilian passengers toward safety. The journey runs on a route map. Each leg you choose a destination, and that choice decides whether you hit a battle, a settlement, a scavenging site or a scripted encounter. Fuel, food, ammunition and cash all drain as you travel, so plotting a route is a resource problem as much as a navigation one. Fights play out on an isometric grid. Your squad splits into four unit classes with different movement, range and special abilities, and each turn draws from a shared pool of moves. Losses are permanent. A soldier who dies is gone for good, and replacements cost supplies you may not be able to spare.
