SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow

Players choose between two competing future paths, a resource-heavy technology approach or a cleaner academic approach, each changing how utilities, pollution, and specializations function within the city. New construction options include megatowers that stack thousands of residents vertically and automated drones that manage traffic and waste collection. The expansion shifts focus toward vertical construction and long-term environmental tradeoffs tied to the chosen future path, distinguishing it from the base simulation's more traditional city layouts.

• Two future paths Players pick between competing technology approaches with different tradeoffs.
• Megatowers Vertical structures house large populations in a small footprint.
• Automated drones Drones handle traffic control and waste management.
• New specializations Futuristic buildings and districts expand city planning options.
