Saints

Nine districts are split between rival factions, including a fitness-and-vehicle gang, an anarchist nightlife crew and a private military company. The crew fights, buys and takes over neighborhoods to fund the operation. Combat plays out in third person with firearms, melee attacks and vehicles used as improvised weapons, and non-playable gang members can be called in to back up the player during firefights. A detailed character creator lets players build the boss from scratch, covering body type, voice and walk, and that same customization extends to outfits, tattoos, vehicles and the crew's headquarters. Taking over a district opens a front business there, from a weed farm to an insurance scam, and the profits fund weapons, vehicle upgrades and new abilities. A wingsuit and a grappling hook open vertical routes across rooftops and canyons for traversal and stunts. Two players can drop in and out of the story cooperatively, each keeping independent progression. Side jobs and vehicle chases fill the open world between story missions.
