About this game
Players build a card deck for each of two chosen heroes and switch between them mid-battle to cover weaknesses and combine special abilities against enemies encountered on the map. Progress across the branching, procedurally generated pages is made by spending ink to push back fog covering unexplored areas, uncovering paths, treasure, shops, and encounters as the run continues. Each run ends in either defeat or a fight against a chapter boss, and permanent unlocks earned along the way carry over to make future attempts stronger.
- Dual Hero Switching Two heroes with separate decks can be swapped mid-battle to combine strengths.
- Fog-Clearing Map Ink is spent to reveal branching paths on procedurally generated pages.
- Deck Building Each hero collects and upgrades their own set of combat cards.
- Permanent Run Unlocks Rewards earned during a run carry over to strengthen later attempts.
