Roads of Rome 3

Victorius leaves Julia behind and marches out to push the invaders back and repair what they burned. Each level is a fixed map with a list of goals and a clock running against you. You direct a small pool of workers by clicking a task: fell trees, gather food, quarry stone, clear rubble from a road, rebuild a bridge or raise a building. Every job costs resources and worker time, so the real puzzle is picking an order that unlocks the next job soonest. Roads matter mechanically rather than just in the story, because laying a stretch of paving opens ground the workers cannot otherwise reach. Later maps grow larger and stack multi-step objectives on the same loop, and some throw in hazards such as fires to put out.

KEY FEATURES

• Forty Three Levels - The campaign runs 43 fixed maps, each with its own goal list and clock.
• Worker Management - You click tasks to send a small crew chopping, quarrying, gathering and building, and every job costs time and resources.
• Road Building - Laying paving opens ground the workers cannot otherwise reach, so roads gate access rather than just decorating the map.
• Time Ratings - Finishing a map inside its target time earns a higher rating and gives a reason to replay.
• Escalating Maps - Later levels grow bigger, layer multi-step objectives and add hazards such as fires.
