RimWorld: Anomaly

Players continue managing a small group of colonists on a hostile planet, but must now also study and contain anomalous entities that appear as new threats, ranging from shapeshifting creatures to unexplained psychic phenomena. Researching these anomalies unlocks new tools and structures for capturing, studying, or repurposing them, turning what begins as a dangerous event into a usable colony asset if handled carefully. Mishandling containment can trigger further disasters, adding a horror-survival layer on top of the existing building, farming, and combat systems that define the core game.

• Anomaly Research Study captured entities to unlock new equipment and colony options.
• Containment Structures Build cells and tools to hold dangerous anomalies safely.
• New Threats Face supernatural events and creatures not present in the base game.
• Colony Integration Anomaly mechanics layer onto existing building, farming, and combat systems.
