Revival: Recolonization

Different clans offer distinct traits, shaping how a player's people grow and adapt as they progress through four ages of development. Across a transformed planet, players negotiate with or conquer scattered human colonies, gathering territory and resources while preparing for a coming conflict against a despotic power. Sudden weather shifts, zombie outbreaks and weapon bans can reshape a playthrough at any point, keeping strategy from settling into routine. An edict system lets players terraform sections of the map and adjust the rules that govern specific zones of their territory. Combat plays out in turn-based battles behind destructible cover, with troops equipped with swappable gear suited to a chosen tactic. The mix of clan choice, random events and rule-adjusting edicts is meant to make each campaign play out differently.
