Ranch Simulator | Homestead Edition

You start with a decaying house, empty pens and a pickup truck. Work is hands-on: you buy tools and lumber, repair walls and roofs, then raise barns, coops and fenced runs from scratch. Livestock arrives once the housing is ready, and cattle, pigs, chickens, sheep and horses each need feeding, watering, cleaning and breeding. Produce such as milk, eggs, wool and cured meat is processed on site and hauled to town for money. Crops add a second income line, and horses can be trained and sold on. The surrounding wilderness supports hunting deer and bear with rifles and bows, while wolves and other predators raid the herd if fences are neglected. Vehicles, a day-night cycle and shifting weather shape what you can finish in a single shift. Up to four players can share one ranch online and split the chores between them. This edition packages the full base game with the Southwest Ranch and Farm expansion, which opens an arid frontier map of dry plains, canyons and desert scrub with new predators and its own cowboy-styled ranching setup.
