Railway Empire - Crossing the Andes

The add-on introduces three campaign scenarios centered on the early railway pioneers who pushed lines through the Andes, alongside a full sandbox map covering that mountainous terrain for free-play and sandbox modes. Steep gradients and dense jungle terrain make route planning more demanding than on flatter maps, rewarding careful engine choice and track layout to keep trains running efficiently.

Two new locomotive types join the roster, the Kitson-Meyer and the Garratt, both built for hauling heavy loads over steep, winding grades. The expansion also adds more than ten new tradeable goods unique to the area. Including llama wool and guano, and opens up 34 new cities for players to connect with rail lines and grow into trading hubs.
