Railway Empire 2 - Bella Italia

In the base game, players design, build and operate rail networks, laying track, running trains and managing freight and passenger routes to grow a transport business over time. This expansion adds an Italian setting with two detailed maps covering northern and southern Italy, plus one larger map joining the whole peninsula together. Three fully voiced scenarios run through different eras, following a family's fortunes in Rome, a rise from hardship, and a grand finale centered on Milan. Eight new locomotives modeled on real Italian trains join the roster. Twenty-two new local goods, from pasta and grappa to rare white marble, add fresh cargo to haul. A new soundtrack of jingles and tracks plays throughout, setting the mood for the Italian scenarios and maps. The scenarios weave in financial ups and downs, giving players fresh economic challenges layered on top of the core rail-building gameplay.
