About this game
The player commands historical military units across a linked campaign of scenarios, moving pieces on a hex grid to capture objectives and destroy opposing forces. Units gain experience through combat and can be repaired, upgraded, or replaced between missions, and prestige earned from victories carries forward into later scenarios in the campaign. This expansion adds new unit types, maps, and scenarios specific to the era on top of the base game's turn-based system.
- Hex-Based Strategy Battles play out on a hex grid map with objective capture.
- Linked Campaign Scenarios connect together, carrying prestige and unit experience forward.
- Unit Progression Units gain experience and can be upgraded between missions.
- Era-Specific Content New maps and unit types cover the Spanish Civil War period.
