About this game
The Owl clan's special mechanics let the player manipulate visibility and use night-based advantages to outmaneuver rivals, while still managing the core loop of gathering resources, expanding territory, and defending against seasonal threats and hostile creatures. Like other clans in the game, the player must balance food production, population happiness, and military strength to survive the shifting seasons on the island of Northgard. The Vordr clan's unique units and abilities lean into subterfuge and surprise, rewarding players who plan around darkness and misdirection rather than straightforward military buildup. This expansion offers another distinct strategic identity for players seeking new ways to approach the game's settlement-building and conquest systems.
