Northgard - Svardilfari, Clan of the Horse

The clan's identity centers on horses, granting bonuses to movement across the map and unique cavalry-style units that can strike quickly and retreat before enemies can respond. Playing this clan changes the pacing of a match, rewarding players who scout aggressively, harass opponents' supply lines, and reposition forces rapidly rather than relying on static defense. The expansion introduces a distinct set of buildings and upgrades tied to horse breeding and stable management, alongside new lore fragments that tie the clan into Northgard's broader Norse mythology. Special abilities let the clan cover territory faster than others, useful for claiming resource-rich zones early or executing hit-and-run raids against rival settlements. The content integrates directly into existing game modes, letting players use Svardilfari in skirmishes, conquest, and other match types alongside the base roster of clans. It suits players who enjoy an economy-and-combat strategy loop with an emphasis on tempo and territorial pressure.
