New Yankee 6: In Pharaoh's Court

John and Mary step through the Mirror Between the Worlds and arrive in the land of the pharaohs, where an imposter has taken the throne. Helping the rightful ruler win it back means clearing traps, hauling stone and raising monuments under a running clock. Each map opens with a short list of jobs. You send workers to gather food, wood and gold, then spend it on repairs, bridges and workshops that open the next stretch of ground. Obstacles such as scorpions, mummies and crumbling paths block routes until the right building or upgrade is in place. Larger projects include pyramids and the Sphinx, which go up in stages across several levels. Dragon-riding stages break the pattern by having you fly over the dunes collecting scarabs, and matching puzzles hide treasure between chapters. Finishing a stage quickly earns a better rating, so maps invite a second attempt with a tighter plan. Collectibles, craftable items and dozens of achievements sit on top of the main path. An untimed setting removes the clock for players who prefer to build at their own pace.
