Neon Echo

The world has been tainted by a corrupting force called noise, which makes people restless and manic and can turn them into monsters. Electronic music pushes that corruption back, so a group of young fighters carries it as a weapon. You take one of three fighting styles: a blade warrior, a gunner or a boxer. Each has its own talents and skills, plus a stronger Neon form that changes how it fights. Runs are assembled from upgrades drawn across seven build families, joined by a Rhapsody system that reshapes your attacks and skill forms and a looser combination layer called the Rhythm Launchpad. A harder setting named Schrodinger's Noise stacks both bonuses and penalties on the same character. More than four hundred arena layouts keep the route different between runs. Random stops include a shop that hands out a buff or a debuff without warning, timed speaker challenges and small side games. Landing hits on the beat changes how skills behave, and entering the Neonization state swaps the music for something more aggressive. Combat rewards rhythm as much as reflexes.
