Neon Abyss 2

Each run is a side-scrolling descent filled with waves of enemies, blending a neon cyberpunk setting with ancient mythological creatures and imagery. Combat centers on run-and-gun shooting, expanded here with a weapon system covering multiple fighting styles, including swords, knuckles and firearms. Players pick up items throughout a run that stack together into unlimited combinations, letting each attempt play out with a different build. A Faith resource can be spent to buy items from shops, recruit extra Hatchmon companions or gamble for bigger rewards. Hatchmon are collectible pets that hatch from eggs found during a run and can be evolved into stronger forms that support the player in combat. Up to four players can team up online, fighting through the same runs together and sharing the item synergies they collect. Every attempt through the abyss plays differently depending on which weapons, relics and companions a run happens to offer.
