Monster Prom: Second Term

Players spend a set number of turns choosing where to go and what to do - class, the library, a haunted forest - each choice raising or lowering stats like Fun, Gross, or Charm that determine how romance conversations play out. Second Term is a story expansion that extends the game with new turns of location choices, two additional love interests to court, and fresh scenes for the returning cast, giving players more places to visit and more paths to a happy or disastrous ending. Conversations are driven by branching dialogue and stat checks, so the same location can produce wildly different outcomes depending on which stats a player has built up over the term. The tone throughout is comedic and irreverent, poking fun at high school tropes while filtering them through a cast of monsters, demons, and other supernatural students. Because the game supports simultaneous local or online play, Second Term's added content also means more replay value for groups trying to see every ending, every rival interaction, and every awkward prom-night confrontation the expanded cast can produce.
