METAL SLUG 2

Players control soldiers who run, jump, and shoot across linear levels filled with enemy troops, turrets, and large mechanical bosses, picking up varied weapons like flamethrowers and laser guns that replace the default sidearm. Captured enemy vehicles, including the tank-like Metal Slug, can be commandeered and used to plow through enemies with heavy firepower until destroyed. Two players can play simultaneously, and the game's levels move through varied settings such as deserts, mines, and enemy bases, each ending in a large boss encounter.

• Vehicle Combat Players commandeer tanks and other vehicles for heavy firepower.
• Weapon Pickups Temporary weapon upgrades like flamethrowers change how enemies are approached.
• Two-Player Cooperative Play A second player can join for simultaneous run-and-gun action.
• Boss Battles Each level culminates in a large enemy machine or commander fight.
