Meridian: Squad 22

Humanity's first colonization mission to the planet Meridian ends when its crew goes missing, and the story campaign follows Squad 22 as it lands to locate the colonists and secure a foothold. The campaign runs more than ten hours and reacts to the choices you make along the way. Including whether to fight offensively or dig in defensively and whether to protect every soldier under your command or spend their lives to gain ground.

Outside the story campaign, Planetary Conquest generates more than one hundred separate missions from a shifting map, giving you a fresh set of objectives and terrain each time you play. Base building sits alongside direct unit control throughout, so you split time between constructing and upgrading a forward base and issuing orders to individual squad members in real time during firefights.

• Choice-Driven Campaign Story decisions on when to attack, defend, or risk your soldiers change how missions and the overall plot play out.
• Planetary Conquest Mode Generates over one hundred procedural missions for replayable skirmishes outside the main story.
• Base Building Requires constructing and upgrading a forward base to support your squad between engagements.
• Direct Squad Control Puts you in direct command of individual units during real-time firefights rather than abstracted battle resolution.
