Meridian: New World | Special Edition

Players take the role of commander Daniel Hanson, leading a mission that was assured the planet was uninhabited until a distress call from the surface suggests otherwise. Matches combine base-building, resource gathering, and unit combat, with a research tree that unlocks new equipment and abilities for troops. The commander can use special abilities anywhere on the battlefield, weakening enemy forces directly or sabotaging an opponent's power supply for a stealthier approach. A crew reputation system tracks how the commander's tactics affect morale, so aggressive strategies and heavy troop losses shift the crew's attitude over the campaign. This special edition packages the full game together with its soundtrack and HD cutscene videos, plus bonus digital extras included from the start. A built-in map editor lets players build and share custom battlefields, extending play beyond the campaign missions. The result pairs battlefield tactics with a narrative that shifts based on how the commander chooses to fight.
