Lethis - Path of Progress

The player takes charge of a fledgling settlement and must lay out roads, place production chains, and balance supply and demand to keep a growing population fed, housed, and employed. A story-driven campaign walks through the founding of the town, introducing new buildings and mechanics mission by mission, while a separate sandbox mode hands over full control to build a city from nothing. Success depends on tracing raw materials through processing buildings to finished goods, keeping transport routes efficient, and reacting to citizen demands as the settlement expands. The tone leans toward a dry, tongue-in-cheek narration that comments on the trials of running a town rather than a typical grand strategy tale. Layout puzzles matter as much as economic planning: cramped roads and poorly placed warehouses can choke a city's growth just as easily as running short of coal or grain. It rewards patient optimization and careful reading of production chains over fast reflexes, appealing to players who enjoy methodical urban planning wrapped in an early industrial setting.
