Hydrofoil Generation

Racing hinges on three systems working together: charting a course around the track. Trimming the sails to catch available wind, and holding the foil at the right height to stay airborne without capsizing or dropping back into the water. Wind direction, sea state and currents shift during a race, so a boat that is flying fast one moment can lose its lift the next.

Three boat classes are available: the F50 catamaran built for straight-line speed near a hundred kilometers an hour, the fifty-foot Jx50 catamaran. And the forty-foot Jx40 monohull, which manages its own ride height automatically. Races take place across recreated coastlines including Chicago, Hong Kong and Bermuda, with online and local multiplayer supporting up to ten competing boats at once.
