Hammerting

The player digs tunnels into a procedurally generated mountain, uncovering resources and hazards while assigning individual dwarves to jobs like mining, blacksmithing, and cooking based on their personal traits and skills. Managing morale matters as much as production: dwarves have needs and personalities that affect how well they work, and neglecting them can lead to disputes or reduced output.

Beyond internal management, the colony must defend itself against periodic threats from outside the mountain, requiring fortifications and armed dwarves positioned at key chokepoints. Crafting chains let raw ore become tools, weapons, and trade goods, with deeper mining unlocking rarer materials needed for higher-tier equipment.

• Procedural Mountain Each colony is built inside a randomly generated mountain with hidden resources.
• Dwarf Personality System Individual dwarves have traits and needs that affect their work and morale.
• Crafting Chains Raw mined materials are processed into tools, weapons, and goods.
• Base Defense The colony must be fortified against periodic outside threats.
