For the People

Players take the role of a state official under a young totalitarian government. The town faces a deepening social crisis and an empty treasury. Every district wants attention, but the budget cannot cover them all. Resources have to be distributed strategically to build trust and grow influence over the population. Citizens bring appeals for justice, and departments bring their own competing requests. Gathering good information before deciding is treated as the single most valuable resource in the game. Legal decisions carry political weight, too: an offender can be jailed or set free. That choice depends partly on their political background, tying justice to ideology rather than simple guilt. Every choice carries lasting consequences, and the story can close in more than five different ways. The tone stays grounded and personal, following one official's daily decisions rather than large-scale war or diplomacy.
