FlatOut 4: Total Insanity

Players steer battered cars through dirt tracks, stadiums and demolition arenas, ramming rivals and smashing scenery to score points and finish first. Vehicles crumple realistically as chassis panels, doors and bumpers tear away during collisions, changing handling as a race wears on and damage accumulates lap after lap.

A career mode chains together races, derbies and stunt challenges such as launching a driver's ragdoll body through obstacle courses via catapult, unlocking new cars and upgrades along the way. Local multiplayer lets a second driver join races on a split screen for direct head-to-head derby chaos.

• Demolition Derby Events Dedicated derby arenas reward smashing opponents apart rather than simply finishing first.
• Deformable Vehicles Car bodies dent, crumple and shed parts in real time during crashes.
• Stunt Challenges Separate mini-games launch the driver's ragdoll body through obstacle courses for bonus points.
• Career Progression A structured campaign unlocks new vehicles and upgrades as races are won.
• Local Split-Screen Two players can race or derby against each other on one screen.
