About this game
Players explore towns and dungeons, fight turn based battles, and use the Junction system to attach summoned creatures, called Guardian Forces, directly to a character's stats, replacing the more traditional leveling and equipment systems of earlier entries in the series. Magic is drawn from enemies or refined from items rather than bought or found, so managing a limited stock of spells becomes part of battle preparation. This remastered version updates character models and interface elements while keeping the original story, turn based combat, and card minigame Triple Triad intact.
- Junction System Guardian Forces attach directly to a character's stats and abilities.
- Draw Magic Spells are drawn from enemies or refined from items rather than purchased.
- Triple Triad An optional card minigame played against characters throughout the story.
- Updated Presentation Character models and menus are refreshed for this release.
