EVERSPACE

Players explore randomly arranged sectors, mining asteroids, scavenging wreckage and battling hostile ships and turrets while managing a ship's limited fuel and energy reserves during each run. Dying ends that particular run and returns the player to a starting point, but resources and knowledge gained along the way unlock permanent upgrades and reveal parts of an ongoing story, so later runs start slightly stronger than the last. This combination of fast arcade-style dogfighting with long-term meta-progression sets it apart from either pure arcade shooters or story-only space games.

• Procedural Star Systems Each run generates new sector layouts, enemies and resources.
• Permadeath Runs Death ends the current run and returns the player to the start.
• Meta-progression Resources collected across runs unlock permanent ship upgrades.
• Arcade Dogfighting Fast, physics-based ship combat forms the core of every encounter.
• Resource Salvaging Wreckage and asteroids can be mined for crafting materials.
