About this game
Players haul freight across the new roads, transporting cargo between newly added cities and industrial sites using the same truck fleet, garages, and job system found in the base simulation. The expansion introduces ferry crossings that connect separate landmasses, letting drivers load their truck onto a boat and continue a route on the far side.
Colder weather effects, longer winter driving conditions, and new coastal and forest scenery give the added roads a distinct feel compared to the base map. The extra area roughly extends the reachable road network, giving long-haul routes more variety and letting players plan longer multi-stop cargo runs with fresh scenery and border crossings between the new zones.
- New Driving Area Adds a large stretch of road network north of the base map.
- Ferry Crossings New ferry routes let trucks travel between separate landmasses.
- Winter Weather Cold-weather effects and seasonal lighting appear across the new roads.
- New Cities Several new cities and industrial sites become available as cargo destinations.
