About this game
Players place buildings, manage resource production chains, and balance the needs of their population against environmental hazards such as radiation, drought and soil contamination that can ruin crops and harm settlers if left unmanaged. Expanding the settlement involves scouting the surrounding contaminated wasteland for resources and new sites while researching technologies that improve survival odds. The simulation tracks detailed environmental variables, so a single poor decision about water or farmland placement can trigger cascading problems across the whole settlement.
- Environmental Hazards Radiation, drought and contaminated soil all threaten settlement survival.
- Resource Chains Production of food, water and materials must be carefully balanced.
- Wasteland Scouting Players explore the surrounding map for resources and expansion sites.
- Technology Research Unlocking new technologies improves the settlement's resilience over time.
