Endless Space - Disharmony

The new faction, the Harmony, plays by a different set of rules than every other empire. It has no use for the game's main currency and cannot spend it to speed up production, hire heroes, or win through an economic victory. So its strategy instead depends on population growth, technology, and direct expansion across the galaxy rather than accumulated wealth.

Space combat gains fighters and bombers as new ship classes. Fleet formations that change how squadrons hold position during a fight, and a reworked targeting system that changes which ships take damage first. Ground war also expands, with clearer invasion mechanics for landing troops on an enemy planet and bombardment options for weakening its defenses before troops arrive.

• New Playable Faction Adds the Harmony, an empire that ignores the game's main currency and wins through population and technology instead.
• Fighters and Bombers Introduces two new ship classes that add another layer to fleet composition during battles.
• Fleet Formations Lets you arrange ships into set formations that affect how a fleet behaves in combat.
• Planetary Invasion Adds dedicated mechanics for landing troops on an enemy planet and bombarding it beforehand.
• Reworked Targeting Changes how ships select targets in battle so damage is distributed differently across a fleet.
