Endless Space 2 - Celestial Worlds

The base game hands you a young spacefaring empire and a galaxy to grow into. You explore star systems, settle planets, climb a technology tree, trade, negotiate and fight. Your own population is a political force, since citizens back parties, sway the senate and push the empire toward science, war, trade or faith. You design your own ships, then watch fleets clash in real-time battles you can review afterwards. This add-on centres on a fourteen-chapter quest line with several possible endings. You follow the head of the Academy as he digs into the secrets of the Lost. His hold on the Academy slips, his heroes start making their own calls, and two unique planets come to be seen as raw sources of power. Those two worlds are new to the galaxy pool and can be settled and fought over. The pack also brings six new weapon modules for your ship designs and eight new empire improvements to build, so the story hands back tools you keep using once it ends.
