Ember Knights: Wrath of the Architect

In the base game, knights hack and slash through hordes of fiends summoned by the sorcerer Praxis, building runs around six weapons, seventeen skills and dozens of relics. Up to four players fight together to free the game's worlds and restore the Ember Tree, stacking relic synergies to shape each run. This expansion follows Praxis tearing a rift between worlds and challenging the Architect, the being who shaped space and time itself. The Architect splits the game's worlds into two mirror dimensions that begin to destabilize and threaten each other, opening up new altered versions of familiar areas. It adds four new bosses, four new minibosses and four altered worlds filled with changed enemy types and new attacks. Two new weapons and nine new skills expand the build options players can combine with existing relics. The expansion's centerpiece is a direct showdown against the Architect, the reality-shaping foe behind the whole rift. This content is not playable without the base game, which the expansion extends rather than replaces.
