Enemies are laid out on a top-down table like a game of solitaire, and the higher a roll lands, the more damage it deals. Between stages you pick from more than 35 classes, each with distinct abilities and playstyles, then choose which enemies to fold and which companions to recruit. Items collected along the run boost dice results, strengthen class abilities, or add new effects, building synergies between your hero's skills and your growing party. Defeat is not a dead end: a failed run still earns meta upgrades and currency that carry forward, making the next attempt stronger. Combat rewards reading the table and managing risk over brute force, since a single roll can swing a fight in either direction. The card-and-dice structure keeps runs short and readable while still leaving room for build experimentation across dozens of class combinations.
