Every card in a run's deck starts as an enemy that must be defeated and tamed rather than something handed out between fights. So building a strong team means winning the right battles in the right order. When a tamed creature dies in combat, its card is removed from the deck for the rest of that run, turning every fight into a decision about which monster is worth risking.

Combat plays out turn by turn, with each creature in the party taking a single action before passing to the next, so positioning and turn order matter as much as raw power. Tamed monsters carry unusual mutant abilities that can be transferred between creatures. Letting players build unexpected combinations, and every run begins with one starter monster backed by four weaker allies before the descent gets harder.

• Tame Your Deck Cards are earned by defeating and taming enemies in battle, not handed out between fights.
