Each day brings a quota of unpaid debts to collect, and the player must decide how far to push each debtor to get there. Conversations with debtors happen over the phone, where the player can persuade, pressure or pore over financial records to catch someone hiding money. When persuasion fails, the player can send enforcers to make the point more directly. Running the office also means managing a small team, assigning staff to the cases and tasks where they will do the most good. Every choice is tracked, and the accumulated decisions steer the story down one of ten distinct narrative paths. Those paths converge into eighteen possible endings, shaped by how ruthless or merciful the player chose to be along the way. Minigames and smaller tasks break up the dialogue-heavy sections, keeping the daily grind of collection work varied. The cheerful, cartoonish art style sits deliberately at odds with the grim subject matter of debt collection and civic corruption.
