Dead Island Definitive Edition

Players build and repair melee weapons, such as machetes and improvised blunt weapons, and use them alongside firearms to fight off hordes of infected while exploring the island's resorts, jungles and city streets. Four survivors, each with different skill trees and starting abilities, can be played individually or together in cooperative missions, with quests, side objectives and scavenged loot driving progress.

This version updates the original release's visuals and technical performance while keeping its story and mission structure intact.

• Weapon Crafting Blueprints let players combine scavenged parts into upgraded melee weapons.
• Four Playable Characters Four survivors offer different skills and abilities to build a character around.
• Cooperative Missions Players can team up to tackle the story and side missions together.
• Open Island Setting The island includes resort beaches, jungle areas and urban zones to explore.
