Days Gone - Broken Road DLC

John riding across a hostile wilderness overrun by infected creatures called Freakers. It requires the base game to play and adds three new ways to experience it. Horde Assault is a standalone arcade mode where the player fights off growing waves of Freakers and hostile survivors on familiar story maps, chasing a high score. Along the way it unlocks new playable characters, cosmetic patches and unique syringe-based upgrades. Permadeath mode raises the stakes on the main story by ending a save file the moment Deacon dies. A failed run forces a restart from either the beginning of the story or the start of its second act. Speedrun mode strips the story down to a race against the clock, using nitrous boosts to move faster and posting completion times to a shared leaderboard. Photo Mode gains new time-of-day settings and a three-point lighting rig for more controlled shots. New accessibility options include a high-contrast display mode, adjustable game speed and audio cues for nearby collectibles. This pack also unlocks a crossbow and several bike and gear upgrades earlier than they would otherwise appear over the course of the story.
