Crusader Kings II - Sunset Invasion

Players ruling a European dynasty must respond as a technologically distinct invading force lands on the western coast, bringing its own culture, religion, and unit types that reshape the diplomatic and military balance of the map. The invasion arrives as a scripted event partway through a campaign, forcing existing rulers to adapt alliances and defenses against an enemy unlike any other faction in the game. It introduces an entirely fictional civilization rather than expanding on historical medieval powers, setting it apart from other content for the base strategy game.

• Alternate-history invasion An Aztec empire lands in Europe as a scripted late-game event.
• New culture and religion The invading force brings its own belief system and traditions.
• Unique unit types Invading armies use units unlike any other faction.
• Shifts campaign balance Existing rulers must adapt alliances to survive the invasion.
