Cossacks II: Battle for

Players command armies made up of thousands of individual infantry, cavalry, and artillery units across sweeping open battlefields, managing formations and supply lines rather than a small squad of elite troops. Missions are built around historical campaigns and named battles from the period.

The scale of combat sets it apart from smaller-unit strategy games, with battles that can involve massive numbers of soldiers rendered simultaneously on screen. Economic management, including resource gathering and building construction, underpins the ability to field these large forces.

• Massive Unit Counts Battles can involve thousands of individually simulated soldiers on a single battlefield.
• Historical Campaigns Scenarios are based on real battles and military campaigns from the Napoleonic era.
• Formation Control Units can be arranged into different combat formations before and during battle.
• Economic Base Building Players gather resources and construct buildings to sustain large armies.
