Cities XXL

The player lays down roads, water and power lines, and zones land for residential, commercial, and industrial use, watching simulated citizens move in and businesses open as the city expands. Budget management, tax rates, and public services such as schools, hospitals, and fire stations all affect citizen happiness and the pace of growth.

Multiple cities can be linked together into one shared cluster, letting resources, workers, and traffic flow between them, and a wide set of building and terrain tools lets the player reshape landscapes and customize the appearance of streets and districts in detail.

• Zoning Tools The player designates residential, commercial, and industrial zones that grow automatically as demand rises.
• City Linking Several cities can be joined on one map, sharing resources and commuting citizens.
• Infrastructure Management Roads, utilities, and public services must be expanded and maintained as the population grows.
• Terrain Editing Building and landscape tools allow detailed reshaping of terrain and customization of structures.
