Cities: Skylines - Hotels & Retreats

Players construct and customize hotels within their cities, choosing amenities, room types, and staff to attract different tiers of tourists, from budget travelers to high-spending guests. The expansion also introduces retreat areas such as campgrounds, ski resorts, and other vacation destinations that can be built outside city limits, each offering its own set of attractions and services.

Tourist satisfaction and hotel ratings affect income and city reputation, adding a tourism-focused economic layer alongside existing systems like traffic, zoning, and public services. Custom hotel design lets players arrange room blocks, lobbies, and guest facilities to maximize both appeal and profitability.
