Castle Morihisa

You play a spy sent by the great metsuke Yagyu Munenori to learn whether Lord Ishikawa is preparing a rebellion, and the trail leads into the castle itself. A run moves through a chain of chosen encounters mixing fights, rest points, shops and chance events, and a defeat sends you back to the start with a fresh deck. Cards are drawn each turn and spent to strike, block or apply status effects, so the skill lies in what you add to the deck and what you leave out. Four classes play very differently. The monk works through meditation and mantras that serve as both guard and weapon, while the samurai stacks heavy damage using Sakura and counter-strike effects. The onmyoji summons shikigami helpers fuelled by blood essence and draining abilities, and the ninja chains nine mantra signs with kunai and shuriken. More than three hundred cards are spread across those classes, alongside talents picked up mid-run and fallen Sengoku heroes recruited as allies. Enemies come from Japanese folklore, and the castle sends harder versions the deeper you push.
