Blood Bowl 2 - Nurgle

The Nurgle roster fields rotters, pestigors, and beasts of Nurgle, bringing disease-themed abilities and unusually resilient linemen onto the pitch. Players draft a squad, assign skill upgrades as the team levels up, and call plays that mix brutal blocking with ball-carrying strategy across a grid-based field. Matches unfold turn by turn, with each action spending limited movement and requiring dice rolls to determine whether a block lands, a pass connects, or a player is knocked out of the game entirely. The Nurgle team leans into attrition, using disease and sheer toughness to grind down faster, more fragile opponents over the course of a match. Team management between games includes hiring new players, purchasing upgrades, and navigating the risk of permanent injuries that can sideline a star performer for good. The content slots into league and exhibition play alongside every other roster, letting the rotting legion take the field against dwarfs, elves, orcs, and the many other teams populating the game's brutal take on fantasy sport.
