Badlands Crew

Each mission is played in real time, forcing the player to steer the vehicle, aim its mounted weapons and reposition crew members between stations while dodging environmental hazards and giant sandworms. Crew members gain experience from combat and can be equipped with armor, weapons and specific roles, but losing one in battle can mean losing them for good.

Outside combat, the player customizes the battle wagon with interchangeable parts such as flamethrowers, sniper turrets, machine guns. Watchtowers, medical stations, engines and armor plating, building a vehicle suited to a chosen playstyle. A campaign map lets the player choose which stronghold to attack next, and those choices shift the balance of power between the four warring factions.

• Vehicle Customization Fit the battle wagon with weapons, armor, engines and utility rooms picked from a wide range of interchangeable parts.
• Crew Management Recruit survivors, assign them to combat stations and grow their skills through missions, with permanent loss if they fall in battle.
• Four Rival Factions Fight the Gun Nutz, Pyros, Vultures and Klowns, each led by its own warlord with distinct tactics.
• Real-Time Multitasking Steer, aim and manage crew positions simultaneously during missions rather than pausing to issue orders.
