Every entry unfolds as a side-scrolling level seen from a fixed perspective, moving the assassin past patrolling guards, traps and environmental hazards toward a target. Stealth is the core tool: staying in shadows, using cover and setting up distractions let a player slip past a guard's vision cone rather than fighting through it. Direct combat is available when a plan falls apart, but the levels are built around avoiding detection rather than clearing every enemy in a room. The three games follow different protagonists through different settings. Shao Jun moves through a China gripped by the fall of a ruling dynasty. Arbaaz Mir operates during a war involving the Sikh Empire in India. Nikolai Orelov works in Russia amid the chaos following a revolution. Each protagonist has a personal reason for the mission. Each level layout is built around that character's specific abilities and tools, rather than reusing one generic skill set across all three. The visual style leans on painted, brush-stroke backdrops rather than fully rendered environments, giving each setting a distinct look. The three campaigns can be played in any order, and each one stands as a self-contained story.
