Antisquad

Missions play out on grid-based maps, where players move squad members, take cover and trade fire in turns rather than real time. The first campaign sends the squad through modern Wild West-style prairies to take on drug cartels. A second campaign moves into secret underground bunkers in East Asia, and a third has the squad protecting a ship from pirates near the Horn of Africa. Each squad member follows their own skill path, so a sniper, a demolitions expert and a medic all play very differently across the same mission. A wide range of weapons and gear lets players build out a loadout suited to how they want to approach a fight, whether that means stealthy positioning or a direct firefight. The campaign is narrative-driven, with named characters and a recurring cast rather than an anonymous roster of soldiers. Extra challenges sit alongside the main missions, giving players secondary objectives to chase for a harder run at each level.
