Animal Shelter - Horse Shelter

Players take in horses that need a home and manage the day-to-day work of caring for them, including feeding, cleaning and general upkeep. The expansion adds horse-specific mechanics not found in the base game, most notably riding. Players can saddle up and ride the horses they take in once they have settled into the shelter. New buildings and decorative objects come with the expansion, letting a player shape a distinct horse shelter area alongside whatever they have already built for other animals. The moment-to-moment loop mirrors the base game's shelter management, re-themed around equine care: assess a horse's needs, provide food and attention, and keep the facility clean. Because this is added content rather than a standalone game, not one of the horse shelter mechanics or animals are accessible without the base game already installed and running.
